Order the classic Cafe lechero and tap your glass so waiters come by and serve the hot milk from up high. Food is on the table within 5 minutes of ordering and its classic, delicious and great prices. ”

“ A must see place. If you are visiting Veracruz. They specialize in Coffee ,also selling other delicious foods. When ordering your milk with coffee the way to call them is by hitting your cup with your spoon and make a ringing sound. Coffee shop has been family owned for over 200 years. Waiters are wearing the traditional waiters garments of the early 30s. Staff have been working at restaurant for years . Went to bathroom and attendant has been there for over 18 years . Real dedication. Worth the trip and coffee! ”
“ This place is famous for its coffee. Honestly, this is the best coffee I ever tested. The food is also good and the price is competitive. If you visit this place you need to ask for the "Cafe Lechero", make sure you are not lactose intolerant. ”
“ You have to visit this landmark restaurant while in Veracruz. Try their lecheros, they are outstanding. We also have breakfast here: huevos motulenos and ropa vieja. The ropa vieja eggs tasted very good and came with white rice and black beans. The prices are on the higher side, but are well worth it. ”
